Who We Are
Kaitlin Haggard
Hey y'all! I began my graduate education intending to become a clinical psychologist, but when I was placed in an internship at Cincinnati Children's Kelly O'Leary Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders, I knew I wanted to specialize in that work. After finishing my master's degree in psychology, I pursued an additional master's in Applied Behavior Analysis and never looked back! I've been in the field of behavior analysis for about 5 years now. My passion projects include providing trauma-informed care within ABA services and improving the accessibility of ABA services for underserved populations (e.g., foster care, juvenile justice, and rural populations).
When I'm not at Anchor, you can find me hanging out with my three cats (Viktor, Frankenstein, & Poe) and my dog (Charizard), reading, watching live music, or learning to ride motorcycles!

As a junior in high school, I was sitting in church when a 3-year-old boy behind me started making "strange" noises and playing with my hair. His father quickly came over to take him away so as to not bother me. I told his dad, "Leave him, he's not bothering me. Enjoy the sermon." After church, the boy's father marched up to me, pointed at me, and boldly stated "You're going to work with my son!" From that day forward, learning about autism became part of me and a deep love of mine.
That 3-year-old boy and his father set me on a path to get my BS in Early Childhood Education from The Ohio State University and my Master's in Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis and went on to earn my BCBA certification.
I have worked with individuals from age 2 to 22. As much as I think I teach my clients, I learn just as much (if not more) from them every day.
I am also the mother of three energetic, funny, and loving children. To add to the craziness of my home life, we also have two Great Danes and a cat. My wonderful husband helps to ground me and keeps me laughing when sanity can't be found.

Hey Friends! I have a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education and began my career as a preschool-special education teacher about 10 years ago. After years of trying to teach kids with autism without proper training, I was motivated to expand my education. I started looking into graduate programs for special education, social work, etc. and then NKU announced their master's ABA program - something clicked in me and I immediately applied for the program and never looked back. I was in the first class to graduate from the ABA program at NKU, and I was the first from that class to earn my BCBA certification.
I've been in the field of behavior analysis for five years now. My passions include early childhood education, early intervention, and family involvement in treatment.
When I'm not working, you can find me spending time with my family and my cats (Charlie, Marley, and Marcie), kicking butt and taking names at game night, or having a great time at a concert!
